Where should security seals be used?

Eleven places where the use of security seals on sensitive goods is required.

If you are in the sensitive goods business, you have probably used security seals somewhere.

A package that can only be opened once can protect more than you think. Locks can be re-locked, but a broken seal tells you that the container or device must have been opened.

Here are 11 key places to use Secure Seal:

1- Cargo containers

For national security purposes – when it comes to public safety and theft protection – plastic seals, meter seals, cable seals, electronic seals, etc. It is evident that you need super security Seals. Most containers and truck trailers carry sensitive goods.

2- Cargo doors and valves

You keep them locked, but the locks have keys. The burden of cable seals is heavy when storing valuable goods for complete protection against theft and intrusion.

3- Security is only closed to tighten the door if you know the cargo has not been opened. Trying to number and barcode, any Secure Seal will ensure that your cargo remains intact.

4- Fire extinguishers

Emptying the fire extinguisher will not keep anyone safe. Applying cable Seals to each unit ensures that it remains fully charged.

  1. For simple tasks of postal services or air cargo, for example, to avoid interference with simplification or personalization, plastic Seals are suitable.

6- Wooden pallets and partitions

7- Trains

Trains are another place where a Secure Seal is almost mandatory; we recommend C-TPAT-compliant Bolt seals that can only be opened with Bolt cutters.

8- Trucks

Did you know that 90% of cargo thefts occur during transportation by a truck?

Your trailers’ safety and loads are ensured by bolt sealing or sequential numbering of the truck seal.

9- Warehouses and shelves

For convenience and short-term security, try using a coded colored plastic Seal. They are personalized with the company name to increase confidence against tampering.

10- Tankers

Tankers can only be opened with special tools, so you need a lighter Seal you can use, or Sealstone Seals explicitly made for this purpose.

  1. Valves, meters and switches

Can you save thousands of dollars with little money?

Yes, because with a simple plastic Seal, you can prevent someone from accidentally turning on, off or changing the meter settings.
